INDONESIA RUN

Indonesia Run, run for nation is a race competition that organized by Indonesian Young Entrepreneur Association (HIPMI) and Performax. This event is organized to support Visit Indonesia Year 2008 program launched by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the Republic of Indonesia, and at the same time to celebrate 100 years of National’s Awakening and HIPMI’s effort to risen up the spirit of nationalism and entrepreneurship among Indonesian youths. Total of 100,000 runners are targeted to join while millions will watch from their home televisions. The competition will be supported by other activities as program campaign for Visit Indonesia Year 2008.

As experience Event Organizer, Performax has been organizing 10K since 2002 started by Borobudur 10K 2002, Jakarta 10K 2003, Gema Nusa 10K 2005, Extra Joss Indonesia 10K 2005 and Mie Sedaap Gema Nusa 10K 2006 and has been carrying positive messages. We believe that Indonesia Run, run for nation will risen up the image of Indonesian tourism, sponsor’s products and company and as a CSR media.

BACKGROUND

    • Small numbers of tourism campaign to risen up Indonesian’s image through events that represents the situation of Indonesia as a safe and conducive country for investors and tourists
    • The importance of rising nationalism spirit and togetherness in one hundred years of National’s Awakening
    • The lack of sport events and low cost entertainment which are able to unite all society’s levels
    • An effective promotion media is still needed for company and brand image to achieve market target
    • Opening program for Visit Indonesia Year 2008
    • Implementation of HIPMI’s commitment as entrepreneur’s fighter and fighter’s entrepreneur
